Ive check this myself when troubleshooting the issues before reaching out here for support. Yours is approx 5 major updates behind, which may be causing the issue.

The hangouts extension has nothing to do with accessing Google Meet. If you are on a mac desktoplaptop, this should work on browsers by going to though you will need to make sure your Browsers are current versions, and you may need to update the MacOS to the latest version. MacOS current versions are about 10.15 You cant access Meet using a browser on an iOS device, (iPhoneiPad) you need the Meet app from the App Store. Is it a mobile device, or desktop You mention it running iOS 12.8, which would mean it is a mobile device, but calling it a Mac, would mean it is a desktop device.Ĭurrent versions of iOS are 13.4, so 12.8 would indicate it is a few updates behind the current version. No app but opening the Google Meets from the waffle in my google drive.Īlso downloaded the Hangouts plug in and it still wouldnt work. Google Meet does not have a desktop app, and entry is via the webpage.
